Every animal, with its genetics
Each record holds species, sex, morph, line, photos and parentage, plus an inbreeding estimate (COI) from the pedigree. Record traits as visual, het (proven), possible het with a percentage, or homozygous super form.
Pairings, clutches and incubation
- Keep breeding pairs, what each pairing is aiming for, and how many clutches it has produced.
- Log every clutch from lay date to hatch, with target incubation temperature and humidity and how it turned out.
- Alerts flag what needs attention before it slips.
A morph calculator built in
Pick a sire and dam and Broodstock works out the odds of each outcome: recessive, dominant, and incomplete dominant "super" forms. Line-bred colours give a colour trend instead of a percentage. Every plan also has a monthly AI allowance, shown as a meter in the app. If it runs out, Ranger pauses until it resets on the 1st, and your records, alerts and reminders keep working. Questions breeders ask
Which reptiles can I track in Broodstock?
Any snake, lizard, gecko, tortoise or turtle, or amphibian. The genetics reference traits currently cover ball pythons, corn snakes, western hognose, leopard geckos, crested geckos and bearded dragons.
Can I bring my existing spreadsheet?
Yes. You can import your spreadsheet on day one, and you can download every record any time.
Does it work on my phone in the animal room?
Yes. Broodstock runs in your phone's browser and can be added to your home screen. QR tub labels open an animal's quick-log screen when scanned.
Is there a free plan?
